Portal Gun -Pixel Art-

My first attempt at object-oriented pixel art, done at midnight last night >.<. It didn't turn out *Too* badly, considering it was my first time with the shading style you see, but while it looks old school, I personally think it makes the surface look rough, and I'm not sure that's what I wanted.
Anyway, I'd love it if you guys would give me suggestions etc, so I can improve, and hopefully suck less xD

When I was doing this, my friend was also Pixel arting, and if you could show her piece some love, that'd be awesome, as she put a lot of work into it Here it is!
